Country Kennels Bed & Biscuit Is Committed to Helping All Animals in Need
Our animal shelter provides a safe haven for lost and found animals. We provide a warm, comfortable kennel with food/water and an exercise area. Health care services are also provided as needed. These services may include baths, grooming or veterinarian visits as needed.
The following localities are serviced by Country Kennels:
Bylaw Officers can be contacted in those locations for pick up of stray or injured animals.
Animals that are brought in through Bylaw Officers are scanned for microchips and checked for a Tattoo. If there is no identification, these animals are held for 72 hours.
If there is identification, then contact is attempted with the information provided. The animals are then placed on a 10-day hold.
All animals will have their picture taken at the time of admission, and they will be posted on social media (Facebook and Instagram) in an attempt to reunite pets and owners.
Unclaimed animals will be placed up for adoption and posted on social media (Facebook and Instagram), or they will be placed with a rescue group.
