Here are answers to common questions about our services, policies, and facilities to help you prepare for your pet’s stay.
What vaccinations are required for my dog before boarding?
Dogs must have current vaccinations for Rabies, DAPP or DA2PP, and Bordetella. To ensure protective immunity, these vaccinations should be administered at least a week before boarding.
Are there additional charges for administering medications to my dog?
There is a $1.50 per day administration charge for prescription medications. If the kennel supplies medications (e.g., for diarrhea or stress), an additional $3.00 per day is charged. Injections or special medical needs, such as bandaging and wound care, incur an extra $3.00 per day.
What are the boarding rates, and how are they calculated?
Boarding rates are daily. The day of drop-off is charged as a full day. On the day of departure, a half-day rate applies if leaving before 11:00 AM; after 11:00 AM, a full-day rate is charged. We will charge $15 per day for a single dog.
Can you accommodate dogs with special needs or dietary requirements?
Yes, Country Kennels caters to dogs with special needs, including those with allergies, disabilities, or specific dietary requirements. They are familiar with raw feeding regimens and can accommodate various dietary needs.
